How To Prepare For an Appointment?

In preparing for your appointment, gather your medical records chronologically, especially hospital discharges, discharges from surgeries, blocks, physiotherapy, medications that you took on a daily basis and medications that have already been discontinued due to their lack of effectiveness, X-rays, CDs or other storage media and descriptions of imaging studies such as MRIs.
All this will make the work easier and enable better therapeutic decisions.

What Does It Look Like?
Our doctor will take a history with the patient regarding the etiology and duration of pain and previous treatment. This will be followed by a physical examination, verifying against imaging studies, i.e., whether the patient’s symptoms coincide with the extent of pathology seen on imaging studies (X-ray, KT, MR).

The next part of the visit is to discuss the possibilities of the therapeutic process and establish a plan for further treatment. These may include, for example, pharmacological treatment, therapeutic-prognostic blocks under ultrasound guidance, referral for additional physiotherapy tests/treatments, and minimally invasive procedures (thermotherapy, cryotherapy, neurolysis).
