NERVE BLOCK
A central block is a type of regional anesthesia where nerve conduction interruption drugs act on the spinal cord and spinal roots. The diagnostic block is used to determine the place of origin and pain conduction pathways.
The therapeutic (therapeutic) blockade is used when it is known where the pathology is. The purpose of use is to turn off the pain generator or the pain conduction pathway, long-term reduction of the inflammatory reaction, reduction or removal of pain, facilitating physical therapy, simulating and predicting the effectiveness of neurodestructive surgery (RF- thermolysis, cryolysis, neurolysis).
